Washers are small but essential components in mud pumps, used with bolts, studs, and nuts to evenly distribute load, prevent fastener loosening due to vibration, and protect the surfaces of joined parts. They are commonly installed under the heads of fasteners or between nuts and mating surfaces in both the fluid end and power end of the pump.
