Shim

Shims are thin, precision-machined spacers used in mud pumps to adjust alignment, spacing, or preload between mechanical components. Commonly installed between the crankshaft bearings, crossheads, or bearing housings, shims ensure optimal alignment and help prevent premature wear, vibration, and imbalance in the pump’s power end.
Made from hardened steel or stainless steel, shims are engineered for dimensional accuracy and durability under pressure, thermal cycling, and heavy mechanical loads. By fine-tuning clearances, shims allow technicians to maintain tight tolerances and restore factory-specified settings during rebuilds or maintenance procedures.
Our shims are fully compatible with mud pumps from FMC BEAN, ATLAS COPCO (Trido series), and TRIAQUA. They are available in various thicknesses and precisely cut to OEM standards for reliable alignment and mechanical integrity.
