Set Screw

The set screw is a small yet essential component used to secure rotating parts—such as gears, collars, or bearings—to shafts within a mud pump. Unlike standard bolts, set screws are fully threaded and typically tightened against a shaft without the use of a nut, providing a compact and secure locking mechanism that prevents movement or misalignment during operation.
Set screws are commonly made from hardened alloy steel or stainless steel and are designed to withstand vibration, torque, and constant dynamic forces. Their critical role is to ensure that key components remain firmly positioned, maintaining synchronization and reliability in both the power end and fluid end assemblies.
Our set screws are fully compatible with FMC BEAN, ATLAS COPCO (Trido series), and TRIAQUA mud pumps. Precision-threaded and manufactured to OEM specifications, they deliver reliable locking performance in high-stress drilling environments.
