The plunger cup is a critical component in reciprocating mud pumps, designed to create a tight seal between the plunger and the inner surface of the fluid cylinder. As the plunger moves, the cup compresses and expands to displace drilling fluid efficiently, ensuring consistent pressure and flow with minimal leakage.
Manufactured from high-performance elastomers such as HNBR, urethane, or Kevlar-reinforced rubber, plunger cups are engineered to withstand abrasive fluids, high temperatures, and continuous mechanical stress. Their flexibility, sealing capacity, and chemical resistance make them essential for reliable pump performance in demanding drilling environments.
Our plunger cups are fully compatible with mud pumps from FMC BEAN, ATLAS COPCO (Trido series), and TRIAQUA, and are available in multiple sizes to match specific flow and pressure requirements. Designed to OEM specifications, they are ideal for maintenance, replacements, and upgrades.
