Oil seals—also known as shaft seals or rotary seals—are vital components in mud pumps, designed to retain lubrication oil inside housings while preventing the ingress of contaminants like mud, dust, and water. Installed around rotating shafts such as those in crankcases or bearing housings, oil seals play a critical role in protecting internal components and ensuring reliable long-term operation.
Made from high-quality elastomers like NBR, Viton, or HNBR, oil seals are engineered to withstand high temperatures, pressure, and constant shaft rotation. Their primary purpose is to maintain oil integrity, reduce friction, and prevent premature wear of bearings and other moving parts.
Our oil seals are fully compatible with FMC BEAN, ATLAS COPCO (Trido series), and TRIAQUA mud pumps. Precision-molded to OEM specifications, they ensure proper fit, tight sealing, and extended service life even under extreme drilling conditions.
