Ceramic Cylinder

Ceramic cylinders are high-performance components installed in the fluid end of mud pumps, serving as the lining or sleeve for the main pump cylinder. Their primary function is to withstand extreme wear and pressure caused by abrasive drilling fluids, while ensuring smooth piston movement and maintaining internal sealing. Ceramic-lined cylinders dramatically increase service life compared to standard steel liners and reduce the frequency of part replacement.
Manufactured from high-strength ceramics and often bonded to a stainless steel shell, these cylinders offer exceptional resistance to erosion, chemical exposure, and thermal stress. They provide a low-friction surface that enhances piston performance, reduces heat buildup, and ensures consistent fluid delivery under high-pressure conditions.
Our ceramic cylinders are fully compatible with mud pumps from FMC BEAN, ATLAS COPCO (Trido series), and TRIAQUA, and are available in multiple sizes (e.g., 2.75", 2.25", and 1.75") to suit different flow and pressure requirements.
