The TRIDO 140 mud pump is a powerful, high-capacity solution designed for geological exploration, core drilling, vertical drilling, and water well drilling applications. Delivering a maximum flow rate of 201 liters per minute and a maximum pressure of 69 bar (with ball valves), the TRIDO 140 offers superior performance for the most demanding drilling environments.
Engineered for durability, the TRIDO 140 features stainless steel cylinders with ceramic liners, enhancing resistance to wear and dramatically increasing service intervals. The pump’s pistons are made from HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) — an ideal material for non-aggressive drilling fluids — with optional Kevlar-reinforced pistons available for highly abrasive conditions.
This horizontal triplex piston pump configuration includes three pistons, each with a 2.75-inch (69.9 mm) diameter and 2.75-inch (69.9 mm) stroke, allowing it to handle high volumes at significant pressures. The valve housing is constructed from high-strength cast iron, ensuring excellent mechanical durability.
The TRIDO 140 comes standard with stainless steel ball valves and seats, but it can also be equipped with disc valves depending on project requirements. For applications needing different flow and pressure characteristics, it offers the flexibility to swap the 2.75-inch cylinders with 2.25-inch (57.15 mm) cylinders.
Designed to operate at drive shaft speeds of up to 900 rpm (minimum 360 rpm), the TRIDO 140 is lubricated with 3.78 liters (1 gallon) of SAE 30 oil, ensuring smooth mechanical efficiency and long-term reliability.
